Our collection of powder colorants includes all references for surface decorative effects: metallic lustre powders (gold, silver, copper, bronze, copper), pearl powders (pearl, ivory), sparkling powders, matte powders in pastel and neon. Applied dry with a brush for direct metallic effect, or mixed with an edible rejuvenator to transform into paint. Ideal for macarons, shortbread cookies, fondant, tempered chocolate.

Metallic lustre powders

The edible lustre powders deliver a shiny metallic effect: edible gold, silver, copper, bronze, rose copper. Applied dry with a brush on fondant, cookies, sugar flowers. Intense shine, low dosage (high pigment concentration). Compatible with a rejuvenator for liquid paint.

Pearl, pearly, and sparkling powders

The pearl powders (pearl, ivory, glacier blue, pearl ivory) provide an elegant velvety effect: a softly satin finish, ideal for family ceremonies. The edible glitter powders add sparkle: a projected shiny effect, perfect for festive cakes. Compliant with European food regulations (without banned synthetic micas).

Matte, neon, and rejuvenating colored powders

The colored matte powders cover all shades: pastel, primary, neon. Direct application with a brush for maximum intensity, or mixed in gel for mass coloring. The edible rejuvenator is the thinner that transforms the powder into liquid paint: apply with a fine brush for precise designs on fondant or biscuits.

How to apply a metallic lustre powder?
With a dry and clean brush: dip into the powder, tap off excess, gently brush the surface (fondant, biscuit, flower). For a shiny liquid paint: mix 1 spoon of powder with a few drops of edible rejuvenator (60° food-grade alcohol or lemon extract). Apply with a fine brush.
Difference between pearl powder and lustre powder?
Lustre powder: intense metallic effect, bright shine (gold, silver, copper). Pearl powder: soft satin effect, gentle shine (pearl, ivory). Lustre powder catches the eye, pearl powder subtly dresses.
Can the powder be used in a macaron?
Not for mass coloring (the powder absorbs moisture from the shell and destabilizes the meringue). However, surface application after baking, with a dry brush or a rejuvenator: perfectly compatible for decorating an already baked macaron. Prefer water-soluble colorants for mass coloring.
How to store edible powders?
Storage at room temperature 18-20°C, protected from humidity and direct light, in the original tightly closed container. Shelf life 24 to 36 months. If the powder clumps: sift before use. Never use a wet brush that would contaminate the entire container.
