Our rolled fondant collection includes fondant sheets already rolled to the professional thickness of 3 mm. Calibrated diameters for standard cakes (25 cm, 30 cm, 36 cm, 40 cm), consistent quality, smooth finish guaranteed. Ideal for high-volume pastry chefs who want to skip the rolling step, or for hobbyists seeking a professional result without prior experience.

Why choose rolled fondant

3 major advantages. Time-saving: 5 minutes saved per cake (no rolling, no cornstarch dusting). Consistent quality: calibrated 3 mm thickness, no more variation between cakes. Beginner-friendly: no need to master rolling technique, just unroll and smooth. Perfect for occasional workshops without full rolling equipment (large rolling pin, XXL board).

Available sizes

Standard sizes in stock. 25 cm diameter: for cakes up to 18 cm diameter × 8 cm height. 30 cm diameter: for cakes 20-22 cm × 10 cm. 36 cm diameter: for cakes 22-25 cm × 12 cm. 40 cm diameter: for cakes 25-28 cm × 14 cm. For multi-tier wedding cakes: use multiple discs according to tier sizes.

Application method

Step 1: coat the cake with buttercream, smooth, chill for 30 minutes. Step 2: remove the protective film from the fondant roll, place the sheet on the cake (center carefully). Step 3: smooth with a smoother from the center to the edges, gradually pushing out air. Step 4: cut excess at the base with a cutter. Step 5: decorate (flowers, ribbons, patterns). Total time: 5 minutes vs 15 minutes with manual rolling.

Rolled fondant or classic fondant, what price difference?
Rolled fondant costs 20-30% more per kilo than fondant in bags (1kg to 2.5kg sizes). For occasional pastry chefs: rolled fondant is cost-effective (less waste, less equipment). For high-volume pros: classic hand-rolled fondant remains more economical.
Can rolled fondant be colored?
No, this is its main limitation: the sheet is already rolled and cannot be kneaded to incorporate coloring. Choose the desired color directly when purchasing (white, ivory, pastels available). For custom colors: use classic fondant in bags.
How to store an opened roll?
If the sheet is partially used: put it back in its original packaging, seal tightly, store flat at 18-22°C. Shelf life after opening: maximum 15 days. Beyond that, the fondant dries at the edges and cracks when folded. For longer storage: prefer classic fondant in bags (1 year shelf life).
Is it compatible with multi-tier wedding cakes?
Yes, it is even the ideal use. Use multiple rolled fondant discs, one per tier. This ensures a uniform finish between tiers and saves considerable time (a 3-tier wedding cake is covered in 15 minutes instead of 45 minutes with classic fondant). Count 1 disc per tier.
