Cupcakes: molds, liners, and decoration

Molds, liners, nozzles, wrappers, and toppers to make and decorate delicious and uniform cupcakes.

Making and decorating cupcakes

A successful cupcake depends on the mold with cavities, the appropriate liner, and the piping of the topping. Pipe the cream (buttercream, whipped ganache) with a star nozzle (1M, 2D) for a neat rosette, then decorate with sprinkles or a topper. Wrappers dress the liner.

Key equipment

A standard or mini mold with cavities, liners of the right size, a bag with a star nozzle, and decorating supplies (sprinkles, toppers, wrappers). Fill the liner only two-thirds full for a nice dome.

Frequently asked questions

Which nozzle for the topping?
The 1M (rosette), 2D (flower), or 1A (smooth dome).

My liner becomes greasy, why?
Insufficient quality paper or batter too rich; aim for greaseproof paper.

How much batter per liner?
Fill two-thirds full for a regular dome without overflow.

How to store them?
At room temperature under a cloche for 1-2 days; refrigerate if the cream is sensitive.
