Sugar pearls, mini beads, vermicelli, themed shapes, and assorted mixes: the whole sprinkle family to decorate layer cakes, cupcakes, donuts, and cookies.
Sprinkle families
Sugar pearls add texture and crunch, mini beads finely cover surfaces, and vermicelli remain the classic for donuts and ice cream.
For occasions, stars and hearts target celebrations, Sprinkles Mix combine several shapes and colors in one jar, and the brand Happy Sprinkles offers very pigmented signature blends.
How to apply them
Sprinkles stick to a still-fresh surface: ganache, buttercream, royal icing, or glaze before setting. On dry fondant, lightly moisten with a brush or use a dot of icing.
For the edge of a layer cake, pour the sprinkles into your palm and gently press them onto the smoothed cream, placing a tray under the cake to catch excess. Count about 80 to 100 g to cover the base of a 15 cm cake.
Frequently asked questions
Do sprinkles hold up to baking?
Sugar vermicelli and beads withstand short baking times in dough (muffins, cookies). Thin shapes and metallic finishes are applied after baking.
How to store them?
In their closed jar, kept dry and away from heat: 12 to 24 months. Humidity causes colors to stick and bleed.
Can multiple references be mixed?
Yes, that's the principle of mixes. Combine sizes and finishes (matte, shiny, metallic) within the same color range for a consistent look.
