Wilton numbering system
Wilton invented the tip numbering system which has become an international standard. Numbers 1 to 9: writing tips (fine round). Numbers 10 to 22: plain tips of various diameters. Numbers 1M to 8B: star tips, flower tips, special shapes. Numbers 100 to 600: flower, petal, leaf tips. This numbering is adopted by other pro brands (PME, Decora) to facilitate learning.
