How to place a topper properly
Place the topper at the last moment, ideally at the event location, to prevent it from tilting during transport. Locate the center of the top, then insert the topper with a firm vertical motion. On a buttercream cake, let the surface firm up for 30 minutes in the fridge before placing. On a tiered cake, place the topper only on the top tier, and check that the length of the pick matches the cake’s height.
For delivery, transport toppers separately from the cake in a dedicated cake box and place them on site.
