Azucren Pink Food Coloring: a gel concentrated from pastel to deep shades
This gel coloring from the Azucren brand tints your fondant, marzipan, creams, ganaches, sponge cakes, and macarons in a modifiable pink, from a pastel veil to a vivid shade. Its gelatinous water-soluble texture blends in without liquefying the mixture, and its 30 g size covers many creations due to the gel’s concentration.

Usage Tips
Measure with the tip of a knife rather than generous drops: the gel is concentrated and the shade develops in a few minutes. For a pastel pink on 250 g of buttercream, one tip is enough. For a deeper pink, add gradually, mixing between each addition, as the color darkens slightly while resting. On a covering fondant, place the gel in the center, fold and knead slowly until the marbling disappears completely.
For macaron shells, incorporate the coloring into the meringue before macaronage and slightly intensify the shade: pink fades during baking. The gel matches the decorations from the Pink collection for a coordinated theme.
Note: ingredients: water, corn glucose syrup, sugar, agar (E406), glycerin (E422), preservatives: potassium sorbate (E202), citric acid, coloring: E129. Coloring E129 may have adverse effects on activity and attention in children.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this coloring suitable for chocolate and candy melts?
No, a water-soluble gel causes chocolate to seize. For fatty bases, use a dedicated fat-soluble coloring, available in the Food Colorings collection.
Does the shade withstand baking?
Pink tolerates baking of sponge cakes and cookies with slight lightening. Use one tone stronger than the desired result, especially for macarons.
How long does an opened jar keep?
Several months if well closed, kept away from heat and humidity. Always take the gel with a clean, dry utensil to avoid contamination.
