Vintage Purple Fondant 250g
Soft vintage violet for romantic retro palettes and boudoir creations.
The Fun Cakes Vintage Purple fondant offers an antique powdered violet, softer and grayer than bright modern purples. Perfect for vintage palettes and retro creations.
Vintage Purple is the signature of retro cakes: less flashy than pop purples, photogenic in warm lighting.
This 250g size is a discovery format for tests, small projects, and artisans: it covers a 15 to 18 cm cake or dresses 12 to 18 cupcakes. Ideal for shade tests, cupcake toppers, small figurines, birthday decorations.

Frequently asked questions
How to prevent fondant from cracking when covering?
Knead the fondant for 2-3 minutes to soften. Roll out to 4-5 mm thickness. Smooth from the center to the edges without leaving air bubbles. If cracks appear, smooth with a finger and a drop of water.
Can this fondant be colored with food coloring?
Yes, add gel coloring while kneading. To intensify, add in small amounts. Note: manual coloring will never achieve the same intensity as the original Fun Cakes shade.
How long does the fondant last once the cake is covered?
2 to 3 days at room temperature (15-22 °C), protected from humidity and direct light. Do not refrigerate (the fondant sweats and becomes sticky).
Difference between the 250g, 1kg, 5kg, and 12.5kg sizes?
The 250g is a discovery size (15-18 cm cake). The 1kg is the standard size for cake designers (22-25 cm cake). The 5kg is a pro size for workshops. The 12.5kg is a large capacity size for schools and intensive production.
